I usually work around hard questions by turning them back at the person ... So I would try to say something like
That's interesting that you brought it up. I was thinking about it couple of days back too. Who are we? Humnnn ...
(and just shut up ... vacuum ... look at her as if you are expecting an answer ... she is now forced to answer her own question)
OR
You are my Monday's special (say with a sense of humor)
I think the first response gives her too much power. Why let her decides what we are anyway? When it's about us, I am the DECIDER :)
