It's better to give than to receive...
And I'm not just talking about STD's. This is so unusual, the holiday season is usually a very contemplative, introspective, and consequently, very depressive time for me. But this year, I am out and about, carefree, happy, talking, and connecting with people. There are still a few things I find lacking...

Need I post more? We must bring that those glory days.

Cooking under pressure
Many stressors in life are created internally. The whole approach anxiety is basically mental drama that people conjured up because of something else. Remember how you made friends in kindergarten? How is meeting a stranger any different now?! Most interactions go nowhere and that's quite alright... what bothers me lately is that day in and day out interaction, that gradually builds and sneaks up on me. I am having a difficult time dealing with the emotional impact of it.
The journey that I started over 1 year ago has gotten me quite far considering how much of a social retard I still am. From what I see, the effort of keep going pays off eventually. Beware of this...

Where am I now and where do I want to go... in terms of "pickup." I've been wrestling with these questions the past few days and I don't have any good answer. I'm happier than I was this time last year. I'm almost as happy as when I was in a very fulfilling romantic relationship previously. Partly, I am glad that I don't have to deal with those man-on-man dramas. Partly, I am relatively happy with my progress in field. Partly, I am juggling with some relatively successful relationships. The difficulty is answering the question: what is enough?

Life is one shot, one opportunity, carpe diem
This is the 100th post and it's time to reflect on what has transpired. Much of life is about seizing that one moment, do not flinch, as Eminem asked, "Would you capture it or just let it slip?"
Life is more than just going through a series of motions and it is too short to be killing time. From the moment eye contact is made, we have to commit to initiating the interaction, if not, then don't bother. Once the interaction has started, we have to escalate, or that connection will go stale and it will, ultimately, fail. There are many turning points, and almost every turning point, we have to deal with each and every shit test effectively. Previously, I discussed about having the balls to open sets, afterward, it's all about keep talking until girls open up, some will and some won't. Success in opening is dependent on the first impression; that's why I suggested people to spend money on their look, better posture, body language, and some things everyone can change, hair style and wardrobe! Oops, if you don't have hair, I guess you can't change... I kid! Save your money on workshop, spend it on yourself first. If you truly have psych issues, get help from accredited individuals, as in the tried-and-true, proven-to-work, traditional therapy using medication if necessary, not more bootcamps, PUA materials, improv class, etc.
Afterward, it's all about talking, being interesting, and as I got better, I discover that attraction is easy too get and it's very fleeting. Try different ways, some girls are more responsive to the fun guy, others to the cool dude, and many to the insightful/introspective man; correspondingly, banter monkey, DHV storyteller, and of course, Juggler's open ended questions to get her to invest into the interaction. If the girl doesn't comply this early on, as in, banter back, stay to listen to the story, or to respond to OEQ, then either keep plowing or move on. Only experience in field can provide that calibration. Seize on her response, and keep escalate! Once she has committed to the interaction, then we have to be direct, express our interest, and lead! Girls must know the guy has done this before, that he knows what he wants and what he will do.
How do I know what to do? By going out and trying stuff on my own with some feedbacks from friends. Forget workshop, forget this blog and others, forget what I read... Be a man, be my own man. As shown in the picture earlier, eventually, I have arrived at the end of the road, the promise land, the oasis, it could be a mirage, or a dead lake with evaporation into thin air. In fact, most "dating coaches" and seduction-oriented companies are all about making money off us, so they are more devoted to marketing than to teaching... and least of all, care about us to be sure we are the right people to take it, and to improve with their materials.
Just look at the early fracturing between Mystery and RSD crew, Mystery Method Corp. (without Mystery) into Venusian Arts, recently, Juggler and his manager, and hot off the press, Pickup101 and Sean Newman/Messenger. Who can ignore the Walmart of seduction materials, David D, first he tried directing it to girls, with Christian Carter, now, he, back as himself as Eben Pagan, has turned back to marketing people who he learned all those tricks to sell "cocky & funny" to us.
As scary and even as negative as this sounds, I did, I failed, I learned, and I kept repeating. The only thing that sometimes suffered has been my ego. But when I recall all my fond memories, a few bruises to my ego are the cost to improving me. Just do it. Don't worry about what others think, by impressing or teaching others, be who you are, be a man.

A lifestyle choice
For those who are devoted readers of this blog, I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile. Life has been busy; there seems to be a synergy between the three pillars of life: health, wealth, and relationships.
Learning "pickup techniques" has made me more friendly, I can relate with people, and consequently, being social animals that we are, I have met some wonderful people, made new friends, and in the process, gained so much more joy being human again. Although I have very little hesitation in expressing my opinions in the past, I feel so much more liberated now that I can quickly connect with people and be part of the group.
Even a simple task of getting a rental car, the guy gave me free upgrade because I was friendly with him. Another incidence was that we were stranded up on a mountain at night, because I befriended a few other tourists from Europe, who barely spoke any English, we were able to make our way back down together, 1.5 hours later. Had I been timid and shy, like I was before, and with just my girl, I don't think I would be typing up this blog in the comfort of my home, nearly 48 hours later.
Then a few weeks ago, another headhunter contacted me regarding some possible employment opportunities, with a few phone calls, and being able to be the likable person, I think I have a new job lined up. I will decide whether I will jump ship once I get to know the people there.
As trite as this might sound, be yourself is a great advice. I was not myself until recently; deep down, there was a fun, friendly, social guy, because of fears and other insecurities, my true self was locked up. Let go of expectations, let go of fears, find out what make yourself tick, be the person you want, lead and others will follow.

I lied
Creatively. And I did, the time and date stamp on this post is a lie. Yes, I, too, get caught up in the 7/7/7 7:07 b.s. Oh, adapted from a recent movie I saw recently, "Anyone can learn to PU, only the fearless can become great PUA!" Or as someone told me Johnny Savior once said, "Hesitation leads to masturbation."
DaaaaAAAARGH! I just don't have any new profound insight, just go out and talk to people, I connect with some, most I don't. When I have even a tenuous connection, I immediately latch on and take them on an emotional journey with me. Some get bored, most continue. At the same time, I incorporate some kino escalation techniques. Instead of the lame excuse to touch the girl like using Ring Finger routine, I just pull them in, push them out. I was and still am a big advocate of routines, just the field tested, tried and true ones of my own. The days of using others' stories and routines are over...
Act out my stories, I involve them, sometimes doing future projections, and of course, with kino. Another fun prop I've used quite a bit is my camera, I would get girls to do poses, of course, I'll be in those, thus, more kino. I even use camera to open sets; no, not like the creepy dudes who pretend to be photographers.

I improvise some fun, creative things on the fly. Yes, that was a can of redbull in his hands, he was really out of it, and his head was on her milk pillows. I don't have much else. Go out, have fun, be social, just do it, stick to her to get in-her with plenty of kino.

How to lose friends and alienate people
What a year it has been, I feel very privileged to have socialized (or attempted to socialize) with so many people who did a great job at losing friends and alienating people, here are a few things I learned from many community guys who are experts at this. Actually, I kid! They are great people... that's why they have to pay money to hang out with "friends" (uh, dating coaches) .
If there is one infectious disease we all should get, it's about being positive and fun. The 4 things that make for a great July 4th:
- Meat grilled
- Beer chilled
- Fireworks explosive

Complacency vs. continuous improvement
A few of us who hang out together don't seem to have the same drive and motivation as we did at the beginning of the summer. Many of us have improved quite a bit and we have been doing quite well in field; I worry though, that I'm not pushing myself as much as I did entering into the summer. Then I look around me, I see many warning signs, of people who are not good and will never be good. I don't want to repeat their mistakes.

Those who improve because they have both drive and focus. I suspect most PU coaches who are good because they have both high energy and sex drive. Those who don't have such high sex drive wouldn't work as hard because they don't have the need, and without the high level of energy, they simply can't afford to work that hard. I wonder how much of that is learned behavior because of necessity.
In any case, this beast has quite an appetite, and he needs to be fed!

PU workshop: The Journey
For those who has never taken a PU workshop. This is how we get in touch with our inner child. Discover our real selves, the most appealing qualities waiting to get out. We have to bare our souls, shed our inhibitions, destroy our limiting beliefs, be vulnerable, be accepting, and be ready to receive knowledge from our gurus. The true man-to-boy influence.
From this point on, we are ready begin our journey. The road to in-her is a long one; for every journey, it begins with the first step... and here it is.

Night game is where we find the most sets to practice. We will learn the day-to-day influential ass-grabbing subcommunication. Stop thinking, no mental masturbation, we go head first and jump right in. Take a bottle if we have to dive into bushes, whatever we need to deal with our approach anxiety.
When the workshop is done, our reality is shattered. Our frame will be so strong that we think we can dive through wall. We will transcend limitations of mortals, we won't need alcohol. We will leave our past behind...
And in a few years, after a few more workshops, we will sarge just like this kid. He is an inspiration for all of us. Talk about no approach anxiety. He is getting more action because of our patent pending style and image personal image makeover! If only he would post his field and/or lay reports, we could learn soooooo much!
Why I like nottie girls...
How do you flip a girl from this...

To this?

- Buy her a drink

- A well presented DHV story that flipped all of her attraction switches
- Social proof
- Reward on her investment and relate to her emotions
- A good smack on her ass
- The SHOCKER! Blog about her lame ex-bf here
- Give her the gift that lasts forever; no, not diamond! Pay attention, herpes are forever
